Sukhoi SuperJet 100 In 2004, Sukhoi Civil Aviation approached B/E Aerospace to design a complete cabin interior for its new aircraft. B/E embraced the opportunity and created an interior considered one of the most spacious interiors in the regional aircraft market. The complete interior includes:
- Sidewalls
- Galleys
- Seating (business class, and main cabin)
- Galley inserts
- Oxygen and PSUs
- Stowage bins
- Lighting
- Lavatories
In addition, B/E provides the design, substantiation and certification for the complete interior.

747/767/777 International Fleet Upgrade Program
For this international carrier, B/E Aerospace designed, substantiated, manufactured parts kits and certified a total of 99 aircraft in the airline’s international fleet. Modifications included:
- Installation of new first class seats
- Installation of new business class seats
- Installation of new main cabin seats
- Installation of galleys, lavatories, and monuments
- Reconfiguration
of PSUs and stowage bins
- Reconfiguration of class dividers, aircraft floor, ceiling and sidewalls
In addition, B/E provided the design and substantiation of structural, electrical, and systems provisions for the new components including the installation of the IFE system. This included the removal of the existing overhead video system and installation of in-seat PC Power in first and business class. On-site engineering support was also provided through program completion.

747-400 Interior Reconfiguration
In this project B/E Aerospace provided the complete reconfiguration of 29 Boeing 747-400 aircraft. Work provided included:
- Design and substantiation
- Structural, electrical, and systems provisions kits manufacturing
- Certification
- Provisions for lavatories, closets, partitions and nose closet
- New galleys and video systems
- Installation of first, business, and main cabin seating
- Replacement of upper deck floor beams and panels
- Revisions to interior ceiling, sidewalls and bin arrangements
- Revisions to PSUs and oxygen systems
All of the above was accomplished to accommodate the new interior arrangement. B/E obtained a joint FAA STC Certification and Japan’s Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) approval for this program.
